XFX: “triple” graphics accelerators NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT
XFX has presented three graphics adapters at once based on the announced today NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT (G94). Recall that the “first-born” of the ninth generation GeForce is aimed at the middle market segment and, as the test results show, is its undisputed favorite. The G94 differs from the G92 only in smaller quantitative characteristics in terms of the number of universal shader processors and texture units, support for the 256-bit memory bus is retained. You can get acquainted with the architecture of the new GPU, as well as with the test results in our laboratory of video adapters based on it, here.
The first of the new XFX products – the XFX GeForce 9600GT 512MB DDR3 adapter (PV-T94P-YDF4) – is a reference design, the GPU core and memory operate at standard frequencies (650 MHz and 1800 MHz, respectively). The frequency of universal processors is 1625 MHz.
The next model, XFX GeForce 9600GT 512MB DDR3 XT (PV-T94P-YDE4), has higher frequencies: GPU frequency – 660 MHz (shader processors – 1700 MHz), and memory – 1900 MHz. Finally, the older model XFX GeForce 9600GT 512MB DDR3 XXX (PV-T94P-YDD4) is a GPU core overclocked to 700 MHz (shader processors – 1790 MHz), and memory operating at 2000 MHz.
The price of new products is not reported.
