Rambus has successfully completed the development of DDR3 DRAM memory controllers. Fully integrated macro cell implements a physical layer (PHY) interface between controller logic and DDR3 or DDR2 DRAM devices at effective frequencies up to 1600 MHz.
Optimized for power consumption and die size, the DDR3 memory controller interface cell is designed for a wide range of applications, including PC system memory, consumer electronics, servers, workstations and networking equipment. The design is designed to facilitate integration into other products, including custom integrated circuits (ASICs), Rambus says.
As one of the main features of the product, the company calls the presence of circuits for flexible adjustment of timing parameters (FlexPhase technology).
