First photos of NVIDIA GeForce 9800GX2

We have already written that NVIDIA will release a dual-processor graphics adapter GeForce 9800 GX2 in February, the successor to the not very successful GeForce 7950GX2.

Now we can show how it will look thanks to the Tom`s Hardware resource.

As you can see, the accelerators have, in contrast to the AMD Radeon HD 3870 X2, two printed circuit boards, each of which has its own graphics processor.
The accelerator will use two G92 GPUs with 128 stream processors each.

The total amount of memory will be 1 GB – 512 MB on each of the boards.

Support for creating Quad SLI configurations promised.

The source confirmed once again that the official announcement should be expected on February 14, and the recommended price will be $ 449.
