Scientists want to instruct viruses to make nanomaterials
A team of researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) announced the development of a new method of making nanomaterials using viruses as microscopic building blocks.
Viruses harmless to humans have become a building material from which scientists have learned to form the thinnest white fiber. Fiber is comparable in strength to nylon, and glows bright red in ultraviolet rays.
