Vuzix iWear VR920 – LCD Glasses for 3D Lovers
Vuzix has announced the start of deliveries of iWear VR920 LCD glasses, aimed at gamers who want to see a three-dimensional “picture”. Each of the VR920 mini-screens has a resolution of 640×480 pixels, supports 24-bit color and produces an image equivalent in size to 62 “screen located at a distance of about 3 m from the viewer.
The viewing angle of the displays is 32 °, which in this case is a pretty good indicator. The glasses have a head movement sensor with three degrees of freedom, which allows the gamer to look around the virtual world by rotating his own head, not the mouse (if software support is available). IWear VR920 glasses also include headphones and microphone and weighs less than 90g.
The novelty is already available for orders, its price is $ 400.
