Oki Electric Cable Teaches Gigabit Ethernet Flexibility

Oki Electric Cable engineers have developed a special cable structure that provides a significant increase in flexibility. The company estimates that the new cables are ten times more flexible than their predecessors. They tolerate bending, stretching and twisting well, which opens the way for them to be used in moving parts of robots. An interesting feature is the equipment of the cable connectors with screw clamps that prevent disconnection.
