Sony: Cyber-shot T300 camera

Sony unveils new Cyber-shot T300 camera. Available in silver, black or red colors, the T300 stands out from other cameras with sleek lines and vertical design.

High image quality and responsiveness are provided by the Sony BIONZ image processor, which improves AF speed and accuracy, controls exposure and white balance, corrects color, and more. It also boosts sensitivity to a maximum ISO 3200. Double Anti-Blur technology, which combines high sensitivity with Super SteadyShot optical image stabilization, ensures clearer shots when shooting handheld, especially in low light conditions or when the zoom lens is fully extended.

The BIONZ processor also features D-Range Optimiser, which adjusts exposure and contrast to create a more natural image, especially in brightly lit backgrounds where there is a risk of loss of detail in overly or dimly lit areas of the frame. New DRO Plus mode processes each section of the frame separately to make exposures even more natural and balanced in difficult situations.

Advanced Face Detection technology can now automatically distinguish children from adults and correct exposure and skin tones, as well as reduce red-eye for great portraits with super-fast subject tracking. Smile Shutter waits for the moment the subject smiles to automatically release the shutter. This is convenient for shooting natural portraits, as well as for shooting young children who do not always smile “to order.”.

A first for Cyber-shot cameras, the T300 features Intelligent Scene Recognition, which eliminates the need to select settings in a variety of common shooting situations. In Advanced Mode, the camera takes two shots, one at standard auto setting and one with optimized settings, and allows the user to choose the frame they like best.

Other features on this model include a wide 3.5 “Clear Photo Plus LCD touchscreen with 230k pixels, a 10MP sensor and a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens with 5x optical zoom.

The T300 is connected to any HD-compatible BRAVIA TV or PhotoTV display (via the optional adapter cable), the user gets a Full HD image on the screen.

Cyber-shot T300 camera will go on sale in Russia in April 2021.
