GlacialTech releases IGLOO 5610 PWM and IGLOO 5610 Silent

GlacialTech presented a couple of new coolers for Intel processors.

IGLOO 5610 PWM and IGLOO 5610 Silent use a pair of aluminum heatpipes and a heatsink of the same material. The base of the coolers is made of copper.

IGLOO 5610 Silent has a fan with dimensions of 80 x 80 x 25 mm, rotating at a constant speed of 1800 rpm./ min. At the same time, the declared noise level is 19 dBa, and the air flow is 30.8 CFM.

In the PWM version, the fan of the same size adjusts its speed depending on the temperature of the cooled chip in the range from 800 to 3200 rpm./ min. At the same time, the maximum noise level is 34 dBA, and the air flow is 51.3 CFM.

The weight of both new products is 373 grams.

The manufacturer says that, despite their not very impressive parameters, IGLOO 5610 PWM and IGLOO 5610 Silent are able to cope with cooling processors with a TDP of up to 130 W, including models of the Celeron, Pentium D, Core 2 Duo / Quad families.

Like most GlacialTech products, the new coolers promise to be affordable.
