Winchester Systems Announces 60TB Max SATA Arrays for Storage Solutions. The device uses 1TB drives. To compensate for the increased failure rate caused by the increase in the number of drives, the company’s engineers implemented support for RAID 6 in the storage.
FlashDisk SX-2302S array (top two pictures) is made in the form of a basic 2U module, which contains a RAID controller and 12 hard drives. Up to four expansion chassis, also 2U in size, can be connected to the base module, each of which, in turn, can accommodate 12 hard drives. In other words, the total number of drives is 60.
