Super Micro Computer showcased Live SuperServer and SuperWorkstation systems at the IDF forum based on upcoming Intel chipsets.

In total, Super Micro Computer is preparing to release 15 single and dual socket motherboards for next generation Intel Xeon and Core 2 processors.

X7DWN +, X7DWA-N, X7DWT / INF and X7DWU based on Seaburg chipset support PCI-Express 2.0, 1.6GHz bus and up to 128GB memory. X7DCL-3 / i, X7DCA-3 / i and X7DCU boards based on the San Clemente chipset are designed for DDR2 memory. For single-processor servers Super Micro Computer plans to offer a new family of boards based on the Bigby chipset, which will include X7SB4, X7SBE, X7SBi, X7SBL-LN1 / LN2, X7SBA and X7SBU boards.
