Every Mongolian child will receive a laptop with internet access

Another country has shown interest in the OLPC (One Laptop per Child) project. Mongolia’s President announced his intention to provide every child in the country with a laptop with Internet access by the end of 2021.

The project organizers plan to start implementing such far-reaching plans with a trial batch of 20,000 XO laptops, which will fall into the hands of children aged 6 to 12 years, living in the most remote part of the country and the capital of the state, Ulaanbaatar.

OLPC Initiative Launches in Mongolia Next January. The relevant agreement between the interested parties has already been signed.

As a reminder, on November 12, a two-week program “Give 1 Get 1” begins in the United States and Canada, under which individual buyers will be able to order XO at a price of $ 399. This amount is enough to pay for two laptops: one of them will be sent to the buyer, and the second will be sent to children of developing countries such as Mongolia.
